Speaking Engagements
Some of my favorite moments in my career date back to the very beginning of my graduate program.
The raw drive to help people, the passion for change, and the eagerness to absorb as much information about the topics I found compelling. For many of us, we share similar early experiences in the field, yet many of us also can identify with a sense of disconnect to those early stages.
There are various factors that can lead to this sense of disconnect whether it be poor supervision, unhealthy mentors, unrealistic work expectations, or a general lack of support. It typically ties back to foundational perceptions of the field of mental health that develop early on.
Through working with mental health professionals I have found that going back to the roots as to why individuals became therapists and where they experienced a fracture in their passion, together we can address the unhealthy perceptions and strive towards a more balanced perception and subsequent behaviors as therapists.

Therapy Seminars
Whether I am speaking to a group of graduate students, on a podcast, or at a seminar I provide a presence that consists of genuine compassion, grounded energy, and unique expertise to my engagements. My speaking stems from a passionate drive to highlight the underlying truths that exist within the therapy profession. During my speaking engagements, topics include gaps in the graduate training experience, compassion fatigue, power dynamics, and the unrealistic expectations held for mental health professionals.
